A well deserved congratulations to:
| Madison
McCartney (16) - Madison began ballet at age 8 at Etudes.
She took her R.A.D. Advance 2 exam at age 15 and passed with
Distinction. Last year at age 16 she left Etudes to pursue her
career in ballet. She is currently training with the Jeoffrey
Ballet in Chicago - She was also accepted at the Goh Ballet Academy (Vancouver,
B.C.) 2009 summer schools. The Goh has a world wide reputation
for training professional classical dancers (see
www.gohballet.com).

Former Etudes Student

Lesli Irons attended a 5-week
ballet seminar at the internationally recognized Goh Ballet Academy in
Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. She also attended a Hubbard
Street Dance seminar in Los Angeles where she was one of 35 dancers
chosen nationwide to attend.
Jean Robens Georges, after attending a 5-week seminar at the Jose
Mateo Dance Theatre in Boston this summer, has joined the company as an
apprentice.
Emma Konjevich last spring was awarded a $500 scholarship from the
"Alliance for the Arts" in Ft. Myers where she performed a tap number.
In competitions last spring Eleanor Reidy placed 9th at Bravo
and 10th at Starbound. Lesli Irons placed 2nd and 3rd
respectively.
Alexis Koch (14) - Alexis passed
the RAD Advanced I exam with Merit last March. She was also accepted
into the Jeoffry Ballet (Chicago) summer school and hopes to return
there next summer.
Lesli Irons (14) - Leslie passed the RAD Advanced I exam last
March with Distinction.
Sally Greider (15) - Sally passed the RAD Advanced I exam last
March.
Christine Watson (14) - Christine passed the RAD Intermediate
exam last March with Distinction.
Gabriella Sunyak (13) - Gabriella passed the RAD Intermediate
exam last March.
Samantha Burns (13) - Samantha passed the RAD Intermediate exam
last March.
Eleanor Reidy (13) - Eleanor passed the RAD Intermediate exam
last March with Merit.
Blair Micheli (16) - Blair passed the RAD Intermediate exam last
March with Merit. |
